My first blog post!

I am starting this blog due to popular demand.  My friends and co-workers made the suggestion to me because they have reaped the benefits of my frugal ways.  The more I thought about it, I realized that they’re right.  Do any web search and you will find tons of money saving sites and forums.   But this blog isn’t going to just contain the latest sale updates or coupon codes.   I’m going to attempt to explain how Canadians can save money and enjoy doing it in the process by using examples of my day-to-day shopping habits.   I will also discuss when to splurge and when to save.  No, I won’t suggest that you give up your daily latte with my techniques.  But you’ll probably end up owning a cappuccino maker by using loyalty points!
