I shopped for my P&G products at Walmart today, price matching (PM) one item with my mother-in-law’s No Frills flyer. Yes, I am still stewing that I did not receive my flyers at home this week.
Here’s the breakdown of my purchase today:
Item | Reg. Price | Sale Price | No. purchased | Additional savings | Price per item |
Pantene shampoo 375 mL | $4.77 | $4 | 2 | Buy 2, save $2.50 (Brandsaver) | $2.75 |
Ivory body wash 709 mL | $4.28 | $3 (PM – No Frills) | 4 | Buy 2, save $3 (Brandsaver) | $1.50 |
Ponds cleansing cloths, 30’s | $6.76 | N/A | 2 – 2×30’s | Bonus bundle pack – Buy 1, Get 1 Free | $3.38 |
I had only planned to buy shampoo and body wash, however, the Ponds offer was too good to pass up. The cleansing cloths are great for work, travel, camping or the gym! They also had bundle packs for Ponds cold cream and moisturizer for the same price, $6.76/2 jars. The value of the items I purchased including Ontario sales tax (13% HST) would have been $60.68. My total was $29.33. Hooray for store sales, coupons and price matching!
