My apologies for not publishing a meal plan in a while. However, here’s a quick rundown of the best grocery deals this week, found at FreshCo’s Frenzy sale:
- Allen’s Juice 8 x 200 mL – $1
- Oasis Juice 960 mL (Their apple juice is not from concentrate) – $1
- Gay Lea Sour Cream 500g – $1
- Lactantia Pur Filtre Milk Skim, 1% or 2%, 1L carton – $1 (cheapest price for milk!)
- Italpasta pasta 900 g – $1 (Note: Primo pasta 900g is $0.88 at Food Basics but they did not have Primo at my location so I couldn’t price match)
- Ragu Pasta Sauce – $1
- Limes 10/$1
- Red seedless grapes – $1/lb
- Broccoli Crowns – $1/lb
- Tomatoes on the Vine – $1/lb
- Fresh Pork Shoulder Picnic Roast (Smithfield) – $1/lb
- Bick’s Relish – $1
Unfortunately, this is not a nationwide sale since FreshCo stores are only located in Ontario. The location that I went to was selling Black Diamond 300g cheese bars (not expired) for $1.97. I asked the cashier why this sale wasn’t advertised and she said it was because they ran out of stock during the Easter weekend one-day sale. It’s a rare but welcome sight to see a store honour a limited time offer after the fact. I used my last $1 milk bag coupon to bring the cost down to $0.97 on one cheese bar!
Yay!!!! My FreshCo is 1 block away….I’ll pop by later 😉
Super! And don’t be shy about price matching sale items using another store’s flyer. The cashiers are really efficient at FreshCo.
