I continued with my quest for great fast food oatmeal at Tim Hortons. Unlike McDonald’s, the oatmeal was not instant and therefore much heartier. However, they called it “Mixed Berries” and I only got about 7 berries in total. I think you can almost count them in the photo below.
I make my oatmeal thicker (I thin it out with milk) and with a pinch of salt. My friend Moira loves salty oatmeal too and she has also been unable to find any place that sells oatmeal made with enough salt. For fast food oatmeal, this was an acceptable version. But for the taste of home, I still have no choice but to make the oatmeal myself.
