Rainchecks at Walmart

Maybe it’s common knowledge, but I recently found out that Walmart Canada offers rainchecks for sale items that are sold out. I’ve been shopping at Walmart for years but I never knew that.  By chance I was returning an item last week and I saw someone get one at Customer Service.  The procedure is the same as any grocery store. I asked for one today, and I took the opportunity to ask the cashier some questions. Here’s what I found out: There are no limits when you buy items off the shelf, but each department sets a quantity limit for rainchecks. For example, seasonal items are limit of 3, grocery items are limit of 4. And the best part is, there is no expiry date on the raincheck!
