Living the high life, at the lowest price

I’m thankful for frozen turkeys

October 10, 2013 by Fay Leave a Comment

The cooler weather means autumn is here and Thanksgiving is around the corner.  And what am I thankful for every year?  That’s right, frozen turkey sales!  The Thanksgiving Cheapo Prize goes to Loblaw stores this year.  No Frills have locked their prices on frozen utility (parts could be missing) turkeys at $0.87/lb and is willing to price match their competitors sale prices.  The Real Canadian Superstore has frozen Grade A (no parts missing) turkeys for $0.98/lb and is also accepting price matches.  I see roast turkey with all the trimmings, turkey pot pie and congee on my menu for months to come!
