I posted a recipe for Easy Steel Cut Oats a while back but I hadn’t gone the extra step of packing it to go. My sister, Sue, generously offered me some of her wide mouthed Mason jars and suggested that I try scooping out the oats into the jars instead of leaving the oats in the pot overnight. She said that she had learned this trick from her co-workers.
I added brown sugar to the jars before closing the lids. All I have to do tomorrow is grab a jar off the kitchen counter and heat it up in the office microwave. Now I’m looking forward to Monday morning!
