Target Canada Liquidation Sale Fail

February 25, 2015 by Fay Leave a Comment

How could I call myself a bargain hunter if I didn’t at least try to go to the Target Canada liquidation sale?  All remaining CD’s and DVD’s were discounted by 40% and other merchandise was 20% off.  One of our purchases was a Smurfs 2 DVD for $9.00.  It turned out to be defective and all sales are final.

There was quite a lot of stock left, such as large quantities of 24 Crayola pencil crayons. The regular price was listed at $4.69 and with the 20% discount, the final price would be $3.75.  Back in September, I stocked up on the exact same size and brand at Walmart, where they were selling this item for $1.00!

Nice markups, Target. This photo illustrates why you were a flop in Canada.
