Spell Check Fails – Chinese Grocery Store

Welcome to the second installment of Spell Check Fails. I was at the local T&T Chinese grocery store shopping in the prepared foods section when I came across these gems. Enjoy!

Where have your soybeans been?

Bean curbs are also known as tofu, or bean curd.

The following sign must have been made with voice recognition software because it is beyond a spell check fail. I had no idea what “Prmpkin with pock bonk” was until I looked at the package, which was a soup-making kit. The sign should have read “Pumpkin with pork bone”.

Prmpkin w/pock bonk translates to Pumpkin with pork bone.
