If you haven’t had a chance to look at my Blogroll page in the menu bar, I suggest you do so at your earliest convenience. There’s a reason I have recommended these pages! In the upcoming weeks, I will be featuring each of these websites so that my readers will understand why they’re in my Blogroll.
The first blog that I will highlight is called “The Hugging Home“, by Lora Rossi. I classified this as a “mom blog”, but The Hugging Home is so much more than that. Lora is a very accomplished person, as you will quickly discover. A busy hockey mom of three boys, Lora recently quit her “real” job to write full-time. She has been published in numerous places including What’s Up magazine and is currently working with an organization called compassion2one to raise awareness and rescue victims of child sex trafficking. Lora is also a very frugal person, using creativity to decorate her home instead of buying expensive items.
I am proud to say that I know Lora personally. We first met in junior high and I was tickled pink when we reconnected on Facebook. Lora’s journey inspired me to try my hand at blogging myself. I figured if Lora could find the time in her busy life to write, I could at least give it a shot myself. Lora has been incredibly supportive of my endeavours and I was honoured that she featured me in her recent post, “Blogs That I Dig“!
