The cheapest price for milk this week can be found at Food Basics. It is only $3.88 for 4L of Lactantia PurFiltre 2%, 1% or Skim milk. The 3.25% Homogenized milk is a few cents more at $4.29/4L but still a great price!
Living the high life, at the lowest price
Thanks Fay! I don’t get the Food Basics flyer anymore so I was really happy to see thIs post. I went over tonight and got the 1% and also used a $1.00 coupon from a previous shopping trip that was struck to the milk fridge.
That’s great! I suggest subscribing for the Food Basics e-flyer if you don’t receive a paper copy. They will send you an email on Friday with a link to their online flyer.
Another great tip! Thanks! Do you know if you can price match using an online flyer?
Unfortunately, no. The reason is because price matching at No Frills and FreshCo is usually limited to stores in the geographic region. (Look for the fine print on the flyer or there may be a sign posted by the cash register, depending on the store.) If you don’t receive the flyer with your local paper, then it’s assumed that the store is not in your area. I get around this loophole by asking my friend to bring the flyers that I need to the office and we use them at Walmart because they honour all paper flyers.
