I had never heard of Shepherd Gourmet Dairy’s Skyr yogurt before but I couldn’t pass up this deal today at my local Costco in Ontario: 2 x 500 gram tubs of yogurt, 1 vanilla and 1 strawberry for $0.97!
Who can resist 2 tubs of yogurt for $0.97?
I verified the signage and expiry dates (January 22 and 23) before heading to the checkout with two packages. The item scanned in at $5.97 and a price check quickly proved that I wasn’t mistaken about the deal I scored. For that price, there was no way I was going to start squawking about the Scanning Code of Practice (free item if your scanned price is higher than the posted price). I don’t think they hung the sign back up, which led me to believe that it was a pricing error and not a sale item. Happy New Year to everyone and Happy Shopping in 2015!
