Through my association with the Henkel Insiders group, I was lucky to receive an opportunity to test and review Purex laundry detergent plus Oxi and Zout stain removers. I’ve used Purex detergent in the past because it’s one of the most affordable products on the market, but I usually have to use a stain remover as well. (I can’t blame the kids, I’m a sloppy mama.)
I decided to use a load of socks for my testing. I held my nose and picked out two pairs of socks that could easily be identified after washing.
I have to be completely honest…I missed a step in the testing process. I was supposed to have used the Purex plus Oxi and Zout stain removers as a pre-treatment, ie. rub some of it into the stain before throwing it into the washing machine. I didn’t do that, but I was still pleased with the results. I can’t describe the scent, but it’s fresh without being overpowering.
